One of the favorites for baby shower favors are edibles like sweets and cupcakes. I have been giving useful or edible favors since our wedding day. During my baby shower we gave away some fortune cookies dipped into chocolate with colorful sprinkles. On my daughter’s christening we decided to give away honey and sweets. The normal ceremony wasn’t limited to girls alone, it is coed. For the drinks, have some delicious and fun virgin drinks in camaraderie with the expectant mother or just have several choices of drinks without alcohol on it like juice, punch, lemonade, ice tea, water of even milk that is served in a baby bottles with straw. And if the soon-to-be-mom is okay with alcoholic drinks then feel free to have margaritas or white wine.

• Handmade Floor Mat or Wall Hanging – is another amazing baby shower activity and project for it results to something that any parent would be grateful to have, not to mention the fun the guest would have in doing this. If the parents to be are artistically inclined and if you are knowledgeable about their taste and preferences then this would be a magnificent and one of a kind gift. If you are already aware of the sex and the name of the baby then it would be a lot easier to personalize it. Take time to check out the nursery and get ideas from there to make sure that the handmade floor mat and wall hanging will match with the fully decorated nursery. For the materials and supplies, it is easy to find them at art supply stores. Include the following in the list of what you will shop for – a primed canvas mat, satin polymer varnish (to seal the art work) and acrylic paints.

• Themed Felt Board – The baby shower planner should pick a specific theme or a book. Once you are okay with the chosen theme, prepare a felt board and felt. Then let the guests trace shapes, cut them out and then glue on features. Animal theme or letters will for sure create an amazing decoration for the baby’s nursery. • For the last shot – take a photo of the expectant mother with her shoes off and her feet up as she sits comfortably on a chair.

• Take a photo of the whole place before the party begins – like the decorations, table setting, gifts, etc.

Her wonderful baby shower was held last 26th of February of the year 2011 and was organized and thrown by one of her closest friends, Pamela Skaist – Levy who happened to the founder of the very successful brand, Juicy Couture. Along with her, Rachel Zoe’s sister named Pamela Glassman also help in making the baby shower possible. Rachel Zoe has been married with his husband, Rodger Berman for 14 years now and the birth of the baby last March of 2011 was a great addition to their family not to mention it was their first child so they were really excited.


The guest list in this celebrity baby shower is her close friend which includes the ever so beautiful Demi Moore, Kate Hudson and Nicole Richie. All the guests were instructed to bring gift, not for her and her baby but for the Los Angeles-based charity named Baby2Baby, this is an organization that provides help for the families in need such as infant needs.

It is tough to choose a baby shower gift most especially because most of the necessities of the babies is too pricey, so no matter how much you desire to provide help to the soon-to-be-parents, guests usually ends up buying baby clothes or diapers. These are good stuffs too, but can be easily purchase by the expectant parents. So, I say – talk to the other visitors before the party and suggest contributing into something that the family would be able to use and appreciate more.

A game that you can use is the Vampire names – this is one by mixing the first name of one’s maternal grandmother with the name of the favorite flower. Another game is Finding Baby Word which is done by naming all the baby words that can be made in the name of the two main characters of Twilight SAGA – namely Bella Swan and Edward Cullen which is played by Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson, respectively.

You can searched the internet and find Twilight merchandise, I assure you this is going to be really easy for there are a lot of Twilight stuffs in the internet especially in Amazon or try CafePress to look for something with much creativity- the sell wide choices of Twilight baby clothing. Give the guest a CD of the Movies soundtrack, DVD copy of the movie or the paperback copies of the books to those who haven’t seen the movies or read the books yet.
I haven’t seen a twilight-themed party yet but I am sure it would be amazing especially the party favors!
